Today,December 29, 2017, I choose to start my own #100DaysOfCode of this after listening to Alexander Kallaway on CodeNewbie podcast and was glad to know he created the hashtag to document his progress. I have been coding, and learning how to code a couple times a week, but it has not been as consistent as I would like nor enough time.
Coding consistently has been on my to-do list, but I was not ready to pull the trigger to commit to that new routine. I want to put myself in a position to be successful and I had to be sure the other habit that I have been working on was already part of my day.
I will be following the rules as described in the GitHub. They are the rules for 2017, which does not have the rule that it is okay to skip a day as long as you code the next day.
Yes, I could wait until the Next Year to start being so close to 2017, but today fits in my timeline. If you are interested in trying this challenge I encourage you to look at the rules and wait when you know it is the right time for you to start.
